It is seemingly random, although I’m sure not actually random. Is there any workaround (other than not using sync) for this where I can edit the bpm track to be read correctly for syncing or something else I’m missing? I feel like I’m losing my mind lol.Īlso, it doesn’t happen on one hundred percent of the tracks that I haven’t edited and try to sync like in the second scenario. This obviously sounds ridiculous and it’s infuriating. Track 2: original bpm of 160 that I haven’t needed to edit in serato - when synced drops to 87 Track 2: 165 bpm that I’ve edited matches to the 174īut if I have this, it’ll half the speed of the incoming track to the pre-edited dnb bpm: Track 1: 174 bpm that I’ve edited mixing into If I have a track that I’m syncing into a track that I’ve also edited the bpm of it’ll sync just fine. This also happens with some random tracks that aren’t dnb bpm range either. I’d say 90% of the dnb I bring in has half BPM counts - so I will double them in serato to match reality. My issue is this - I use a lot of dnb then I’ll mix into psy trance, techno, and house, kinda gradually lowering the bpms as I go. I’m starting to mess around with 3 and 4 track mixes and so I’m needing to use my sync more often than not because frankly i’m a novice hobbyist doing open format and it’s a lot to keep track of. Okay please spare the “don’t use sync” comments ya ya ya I get it.
